Coffee News Frequently Asked Questions
“Can I try it for just a few weeks or a month?”
There is no such thing as a "quick fix" in advertising. This is especially true in today's much cluttered media marketplace. For a satisfactory return on one's advertising investment, a business must invest in repetition. It is only through a repeated message, week in and week out, that a business' reputation is established with that group of readers/viewers/listeners. This is universal across all advertising platforms. It takes years to become "an overnight success!" Advertising creates awareness, not need! Your advertising will tell everyone that you can do the job they want when they are in need of your service.
Knowing that repetition is vital to an advertiser's success, I strongly believe it borders on fraudulent and unethical for me to sell you something that I know has a high likelihood of failure. This is why Coffee News does not sell short-term Ads as a general rule. While we have many business owners tell us they received calls resulting in sales immediately after their ad started running, statistically, it takes at least 13 to 17 weeks to see real results. I do not want to risk having a dissatisfied client from a one month ad, who will end up telling other business owners of their sour experience.
We do offer a “Release Clause” on all contracts. This way you can feel comfortable that you will not be “stuck” in a contract you are not happy with.
“What are your readership & distribution
numbers?”
Coffee News is distributed through Restaurants, Doctors offices, Libraries, Auto Repair shops and any where else people are waiting. Our “Little Tan Paper” is unique because it entertaining with only “News to Amuse”, neighborhood businesses and local Events. Our readers love Coffee News and really enjoy reading it while they are waiting. Many will take it home & share a story or trivia with other family members, send it to a friend or put it back in the stand for the next customer to read. That one paper can be read up to 5-7 times!
The Coffee News contest, “Find Java Joe”, receives entries by USPS and E-mail on a daily basis. The normal return on a coupon or entry form is 1-2%. Based on this percentage, we estimated our readership in the Titusville Edition to be between 8,000 and 12,000 readers per week depending on the season.
“Can I be on the front?”
Your ad is always on the front or back and never lost in the middle! All the ad spaces are in the best location for the same low price with Coffee News. New ads start on the front at the top of the page. Each ad is rotated weekly from top to bottom and front to back one space at a time. This gives the paper a fresh new look each week. Since many of our readers will start at their favorite section first, your ad will be the first one they see every 8 -12 weeks
“Will I be next to my competitor?”
Coffee News offers exclusive advertising. We only take one ad per business category. You may purchase additional ad spaces or multiple categories for the same ad. For example if your business does Auto Repair and Auto Detailing. You can lock out your competitor by placing two ads featuring two different specialties or for a discounted rate a second category for the same space.
